Dandy Lions

So frail and
Underfed
The weight
Of our shadows
Will pull us
Forever
Out of reach
Erasing apologies
Unspoken

Days become seasons
And a sickness
Blossoms
While white smiles
From the lupine lord
Turn to slivers
Before disappearing
Altogether

From fixed locations
We observe
These revolutions
And wait
To disintegrate
Accordingly
