Not easy or natural
To convince a life
It should not live
That its primary purpose
Is somehow
Fundamentally flawed
The concept
Is a slap
In achievement’s face
For every living cell
Yet
That is my aim
My super villain obsession
The situation calls
For diligence
Eloquence and reason
As the conversation
Is fraught with peril
And the outcome
Perhaps more precarious
Than porcupine copulation
Ultimately
A task for which
I am poorly suited
When the acid
Dripping from my tongue
Sounds a lot like
Kill 'em all and start over
